Can they stand by themselves? When full the base expands and the canteens are able to stand by themselves. What is the difference between the clear canteens and the black canteens? They are both 1L (33oz) and suitable for camping or backpacking, but the black canteens are quite popular for taking to festivals for water alternative drinks due to their non see-through material. How do I clean the canteens? Rinse with warm water and dish soap, be sure to wash out the dish soap. Then leave to hang folded half on a hanger like a pair of pants for a day or two to dry. Does this product come with a filter? No, it doesn't. But the canteens, both sizes, have a 28mm thread on the cap and are able to attach to our Straw filter. What do I do if I have an issue?
